The Superterram research facility is the sixth such facility in the United States, one of a number of privately owned body farms in the world.

Located outside Corpus Christi, our facility was opened by former students and researchers of the Forensic Anthropology Center at Texas State University-San Marcos.

Our facility specializes in the medical study of pre-adolescent bodies and receives over 20 bodies every month. Those bodies, generously and consensually donated to our Body Donor Program, enable our research staff to study the effects of the arid Texas climate on pre-adolescent human decomposition.

Our staff are fully trained professionals, aware of their privilege in working with the recently deceased. The dignity and respect of the bodies donated to us is our first priority.
